  • 6-month limit: In order to avoid being suspected of illegal holiday rentals (accommodating guests), a rental period of at least 6 months is considered legally safe in Munich.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Exception (3 to 6 months): Rentals for periods between 3 and 6 months are often permitted if there is a verifiable professional or educational reason (e.g., project work, internship, visiting professorship). In this case, the tenant must establish their primary residence there for this period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • There is no maximum rental period, but it is usually two years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    How do I get my deposit back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
